Bar Azeem Gbolarumi who was the only aspirant who contested against the incumbent governor said this on a radio program named gbagede oro on Yes 101.7 fm Ibadan, a show that was anchored by the current FIBAN chairman in Oyo state Com Awodele Oluseun.
He further stated that he has a good relationship with the governor, though the governor initially thought he had headed to court, earlier this year rumours filtered in that the governor compensated Bar Azeem Gbolarumi with the sum of five hundred million naira, a statement he debunked.
In other news, he also mentioned that his support for Atiku Abubakar is as a result of his support for MKO Abiola in run up to the 1993 elections. Recall that Atiku Abubakar was asked to step down for chief MKO Abiola which paved way for Abiola/Kingibe ticket.
