Wonder! Ball Ball Arrested, As Sunshine Stars Sink MFM in Akure
The Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Matchday 35 fixtures between Sunshine Stars vs MFM FC featured a wonderful scene as one of the Ball boys was arrested for hiding balls in a tension soaked match which ended 2-1 in favour of the home side.
The Match Commissioner collected the ball from the boy and ordered police to move the boy out of the stadium.
The alleged action of the ball boy has been the usual occurrence in some of the league centres in the country as all the home teams perpetrate such antic.
Goals from Azeez Ajagbe and Ike Brandon condemned MFM FC to a defeat which further cement their place in the NNL next season.
MFM Coach, Festus Allen, in a post match interview, admitted that his team did not play well like they did against Enyimba FC of Aba. He added that the poor performance of his team was responsible for their defeat.
