Barr. Wakil Oyeleru Oyedemi was not seeking political position when he started paying for Law School for brilliant but indigent Oyo indigenes, starting from 50k per person in 2010 up to 350k per person in 2016/2017 and other varying sums for those who seek and genuinely needed help. He did not need to know these people, he only needed to know their challenges. He wasn’t doing it for political reasons. 

Oye was not seeking political position when he paid fees for medical students with financial challenges. He did not even need to know them. Same for Masters Degree students for more than 15 years.

He did not need any political position when he would visit Abolongo to pay for bails and fines of persons in prison who were there due to financial challenges. He did not need to know the beneficiaries or take pictures with them because the goal was not political.

Barrister did not need any political position when he would visit hospitals to pay for fees and medications for mothers in maternity wards around Oyo and environs and also donate medications to hospitals for dispensation to people he may never meet. 

He was not seeking any political position when he would visit motherless babies homes and orphanages to help with everything he could.

Oye was not seeking any political position when he bought uniforms, shoes and paid debts of numerous students in and around Oyo. 

He was not seeking any political position when he would voluntarily dig or repair boreholes when the need arose in areas far from Akeetan where he was born, with verifiable evidence.

He was not seeking any political position when he empowered youths and women among Oyo indigenes starting from 100k,250k per person and so on.

And many more. All these he did out of his own pocket even in the years he never thought he will ever seek any political position. You may never know these because his principle has been to keep such without publicity and also because he have done for many who turn out to be ingrates.
