Nigerian activist raises alarm on snake bite initiation of over 60 students
A Nigerian-based activist, Harrison Gwamnishu has warned the public about a cult initiation procedure known as "snake bite" performed on some secondary school students in Asaba, Delta state.
Gwamnishu made this known on his Facebook page on Wednesday where he shared some videos and a picture of the marks on the students.
He urged parents to keep a close eye on their kids.
He wrote," The video of the snake BITE initiation in Asaba.
"We identified 61 Primary/Secondary School students in a private school in Asaba.
"They don't use stone or razor. It's paper and incantation.
"Currently at the Ministry of Education Asaba to tender our findings and report officially.
"PLEASE CHECK YOUR CHILDREN."
