Nigeria’s Southeast Governors Order Security Agencies To Deal Ruthlessly With Perpetrators, Sponsors Of Insecurity
The South-East Governors Forum after a meeting on Thursday ordered security agencies to deal ruthlessly with perpetrators of insecurity in the region and their sponsors.
The governors described them as criminals, saying they should not be seen as legitimate pro-Biafra agitators.
Chairman of the South-East Governors Forum and Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma, who read the resolution of the forum after the meeting, commended security agencies for their cooperation so far and encouraged them not to relent.
