Similarities between Yoruba History and Ilorin history

Yoruba history has it that Oduduwa was a migrant. Sheik Alimi and Afonja were also migrant.

Oduduwa wasn't the first settler in Yoruba land but was chosen to lead those Yoruba settlers when he came to settle down in Ile- Ife.
Sheikh Alimi and Afonja weren't the first settlers in Ilorin. However, Sheikh Alimi was chosen by the settlers he met to lead them.

Many great scholars in history, people like Wesley Muhammad, Johnson Sammel and Bino Muhammad agreed that Yoruba originated from Eastern part of the continent though there is divided research to establish the origin of Yoruba either the tribe is from Mecca or Egypt. However, Yoruba tribe can be traced to East on the continent.
Note: Oduduwa didn't came from heaven by chain as some tribalistic fellow claimed. Oduduwa was a human being just like Sheikh Alimi and Afonja.
