Tinubu: Even a Nobel Laureate Can Hold Dubious View, American Physiotherapist Attacks Soyinka
American physiotherapist, Jeffery Guterman, has come hard on Nobel laureate Prof Wole Soyinka, for his views that President Bola Tinubu won the February 25, 2023 Presidential Election, saying that the revered academic holds a dubious view.
Guterman took to his X (formerly Twitter) account on Friday to address the Prof’s view.
He wrote: “I find it unfortunate that Wole Soyinka claimed that Tinubu won. It shows that even a Nobel Laureate in Literature can hold a dubious view.”
Recall that in an interview Soyinka granted during the week, he maintained the Labour Party’s candidate, Peter Obi, came a distant third, and knew he didn’t win the election, but only trying to use lies and force to armtwist the judiciary.
Soyinka had earlier in a separate television interview condemned the Obidient Movement for being farcical, a position that got him a barage of condemnations.
On September 6, 2023, the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal affirmed the election of Tinubu as President while throwing out all the petitions of Obi, and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate Atiku Abubakar, for lacking merit.
The two candidates have however, approached the Supreme Court, for a decisive judgment.
