A shocking incident has rattled the community of Ikorodu in Lagos State. A person believed to be involved in cyber fraud, named Precious Mayor, along with others named Prince Afam, Israel Simon, and Emmanuela Mayor, are accused of mistreating their students and keeping them locked up.
The victims had come from Imo State to learn about cyber fraud but ended up suffering harm after failing to meet their goals shortly after starting their training.
The trouble began when the eager students trusted Mayor to teach them cybercrime, but things took a dark turn when they couldn't meet their targets. Mayor, an experienced internet fraudster, allegedly kept them confined in a room against their will.
The Lagos State Police acted swiftly, arresting the suspects on Tuesday, August 26, and rescuing the traumatized students. The State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed that the victims were physically harmed and not allowed to leave.
