Hon. Oyebamiji oluseyi Congratulates Hon Sikiru Sanda, Dr Kolapo Temitope Glorious, Hails Gov. Makinde and OYSIEC 

Egbeda local government PDP Chieftain Hon Oyebamiji Oluseyi  has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP),Hon Sikiru Sanda,Hon Dr. Kolapo Temitope Glorious and the newly sworn in chairmen of all 33 local governments in Oyo State, who were sworn in on Friday 24th of May 2024.
In his congratulatory message, Hon Oyebamiji praised the leadership and commitment of Governor Seyi Makinde, whose administration continues to drive progress and development across the state. He acknowledged the governor’s role in fostering a conducive environment for free, fair, and credible elections, which culminated in the successful emergence of the new local government leaders.
Hon. Oyebamiji then expressed his happiness on the swearing in of all 33 local government chairmen especially Hon. Sikiru Sanda of Egbeda local government and Hon. Dr. Kolapo Temitope Glorious of Ona Ara Local government, noting that their victories in the last LG Elections is a testament of the people's will to put round pegs in round holes. He went ahead to implore them to pay the people of their local governments back with good governance and dividends of democracy as their qualities as leaders is never in doubt. “I extend my sincere congratulations to all the newly elected chairmen. 

Your victory is not just a win for the PDP but for the entire people of Oyo State who look forward to your leadership in driving local development and progress.”
Hon. Oyebamiji expressed optimism that the new chairmen will work tirelessly to enhance the quality of life for their constituents and contribute to the overall growth and development of Oyo State. He urged them to prioritize the needs of the people and collaborate effectively with the state government to achieve shared goals.

The event which was held at the House of chiefs, parliament building, Oyo government Secretariat had in attendance the deputy governor of Oyo state, High Chiefs of Ibadan land, the Onpetu of Ijeru kingdom, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja, Senator Monsurat Sumonu and the Chief judge of the state among others. 

Hon. Oyebamiji rounded off by commending the Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission (OYSIEC) for its professionalism and dedication in conducting the elections. He noted that OYSIEC’s commitment to transparency and integrity has been instrumental in ensuring the democratic process was upheld, thereby reflecting the true will of the people.
