Elder Oyelese Commiserates with Gov. Makinde on Death of Brother, Engineer Sunday Makinde.
The former Minister of Power and Steel, Elder Wole Oyelese, PhD, has expressed heartfelt condolences to the Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Seyi Makinde, following the death of his elder brother, Engineer Sunday Makinde.
In his message, Elder Oyelese conveyed deep sorrow over the news of Engineer Makinde’s passing, describing it as a shocking and painful loss.
''Your Excellency,
I just received the news of the passing on to eternal rest of your senior brother, Engineer Sunday Makinde, with rude shock. I know how hard that must be for you to lose a dear brother. It is my prayer for God to be with you at such a time as this and to grant you the grace to bear the separation," he wrote.
Elder Oyelese also prayed for God’s divine comfort for Governor Makinde and the entire family, asking that the late Engineer Sunday Makinde rest in perfect peace.
"May he rest in perfect peace and may the entire family be consoled in Jesus' name, Amen. Please accept my heartfelt condolences and warmest regards.'' He further stated that the passing of Engineer Sunday Makinde is undoubtedly a significant loss not only to the Makinde family but also to all those whose lives he touched. The people of Oyo State stand united in prayer and support for Governor Makinde during this difficult time.
Elder Oyelese concluded by praying that God grant the family the strength to bear this irreplaceable loss.
