APC National Chairman Commissions Renewed Hope Empowerment Scheme for Bayelsans
The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof Nentawe Yilwatda, accompanied by members of the National Working Committee (NWC), has commissioned the Renewed Hope Empowerment Scheme for Bayelsans at Oxbow Lake, Yenagoa.
The empowerment program, organized by Community Peace & Development Initiatives (CDI) in collaboration with sister organizations, was made possible through funds provided by the Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, as part of activities to commemorate his 50th birthday.
Speaking at the commissioning, Prof. Nentawe commended Dr. Ogbuku for channeling his personal milestone towards empowering Bayelsans, noting that such gestures reflect true leadership and service to humanity. He also praised the organizers for their commitment to grassroots development and reaffirmed that the scheme aligns with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the APC-led Federal Government.
The program, which focuses on skills acquisition, sustainable livelihoods, and economic empowerment, brought together community leaders, party stakeholders, youth groups, and beneficiaries who expressed optimism about the positive impact of the scheme on their socio-economic well-being.
