Hon. Qudus Ajibola Ibrahim Declares Intention to Contest Ona Ara State House of Assembly Seat Amid Jubilation, Vows to Alleviate People’s Suffering
Ona Ara Local Government Ward 5, Amuloko, was on Monday thrown into a festive mood as Hon. Qudus Ajibola Ibrahim, a young philanthropist, officially declared his intention to contest the Ona Ara State House of Assembly seat on the platform of the Accord Party in the 2027 general election.
The declaration, which took place in the presence of his parents, family members and well-wishers, attracted a large turnout of jubilant party members and supporters. Among those in attendance were the Accord Party Local Government Secretary, Mrs. Adeniyi Taiwo; Vice Secretary, Mrs. Olaniyan Sherifat; Ward Chairman, Mr. Babatunde Sikiru; Mrs. Omowumi Lawal, the ward secretary; other ward executives, friends, families and party faithful, all of whom displayed strong enthusiasm and support for his political aspiration.
Addressing the massive crowd, Hon. Ajibola Ibrahim passionately appealed for their unwavering support, both publicly and privately. He pledged not to make promises he could not fulfill, distancing himself from what he described as the usual practice of many politicians, and assured the people that he would not let them down if elected.
He further called on members of the Accord Party to come out en masse for the party’s state rally scheduled for January 14, noting that the Oyo NPEO movement was gaining momentum and moving from strength to strength. He also promised to provide free transportation and ensure good welfare for all participants from Ona Ara Local Government.
In separate remarks, party executives and members reaffirmed their unwavering support for his ambition and advised him to always listen to constructive counsel as he progresses on his political journey.
The event concluded with the distribution of food items to party members and executives in the spirit of the festive season, with Hon. Qudus Ajibola Ibrahim assuring the gathering that more welfare initiatives would follow.
