Lent: Seek Love, Unity and Renewal, Pastor Ayodeji Adesina Urges Christians
The Chief Executive Officer of leading gospel record label, Hope4real Music, Pastor Ayodeji Adesina, has urged Christians across Nigeria and the world to use the Lenten season to seek love and unity.
In his Lenten message, the cleric explained that the period presents an opportunity for believers to seek forgiveness, draw closer to their Creator, and embrace peace and unity.
“Fasting opens a unique window for man to get closer to the Creator through abstinence from sin, intentional giving of alms, and acts of kindness,” he said. “It helps one to rediscover purpose and redefine their essence before the Creator.”
Pastor Adesina further encouraged Christians to reflect on the values of honesty and patriotism, which he described as central teachings of the Bible.
He emphasized that the Lenten season should not only be observed through fasting, but also through genuine love, unity, and commitment to righteous living.
