Eid-el-Fitr: Hon. Bolanle Aminat Sarumi Aliyu Felicitates Muslims, Urges Compassion and Unity
An ADC chieftain and former gubernatorial candidate of the National Interest Party (NIP), Hon. Bolanle Aminat Sarumi Aliyu, has extended warm greetings to the Muslim Ummah in Oyo State, across Nigeria, and around the world on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr.
In her goodwill message marking the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan, Hon. Sarumi Aliyu described the period as one of spiritual rejuvenation, sacrifice, and a renewed commitment to the teachings of Islam.
She commended Muslim faithful for their steadfast devotion, discipline, and dedication throughout the fasting period.
“As we celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, I heartily congratulate all Muslim faithful who observed the Ramadan fast with sincerity and devotion. I pray that Almighty Allah accepts our fasting, prayers, and acts of worship, and blesses us with peace, progress, and divine guidance,” she stated.
Hon. Sarumi Aliyu noted that the true essence of Eid-el-Fitr lies beyond celebration, stressing the importance of love, generosity, and peaceful coexistence.
“Eid is a time to strengthen our bonds as a people, show compassion to the less privileged, and promote unity within our communities. Let us continue to uphold these values as we celebrate,” she added.
She further encouraged residents to carry forward the virtues of patience, charity, and selflessness learned during Ramadan into their daily lives, ensuring lasting positive impact on society.
Hon. Sarumi Aliyu concluded by wishing all Muslim faithful a joyful, peaceful, and fulfilling Eid-el-Fitr celebration, while praying for sustained growth and prosperity across Oyo State and Nigeria.
