‘Tinubu Delivering Results’ — Gowon Applauds President’s Performance Across Key Sectors
Former Head of State, Yakubu Gowon, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying his administration is performing well across several sectors of the economy.
Gowon made the remark while assessing the policies and reforms introduced by the current administration in Nigeria.
According to the elder statesman, the Tinubu-led government has shown commitment to addressing national challenges and implementing policies aimed at stabilising the economy and improving governance.
He noted that although the country is facing significant economic and security challenges, the administration has continued to take steps to drive development and strengthen key institutions.
Gowon urged Nigerians to remain patient and supportive, stressing that reforms often take time before their full benefits are felt across the country.
The former military leader also called for unity among Nigerians, emphasising that collective support for government initiatives would help the nation overcome its current difficulties.
