I have been taking my time to study the unfolding of political events in Oyo Central Senatorial District and I find them quite interesting. From the defection of Joseph Tegbe to PDP with an assurance to fly the party's ticket in the District, thereby leaving the Ladilu of Oyo Kingdom, Chief Bisi Ilaka's camp in disarray to the near-empty Ramadan lecture of a young aspirant of APC in the District.
One thing have I observed that an aspirant still stands tall in the District. This is evident in his wide acceptance by party faithfuls at his Ward meeting. This is a good omen as it is said that "Charity begins at home". His total acceptance is not unconnected to his generosity and display of kindness towards his people even when he hasn't even held a political appointment. Take it or leave it, constituents in Oyo Central Senatorial District know who really cares for them and are also closely monitoring the events unfold and have resolutely approved of Barrister Wakil Oyeleru Oyedemi to represent them in the Red Chamber as he has been tested and trusted.
