2023: Oyedemi Solicits Party’s Support, Pledges Quality Representation
Foremost aspirant of the All Progressives Congress, APC for the Oyo Central Senatorial District in the coming general elections, Barrister Wakil Oyeleru Oyedemi has solicited support of the rank and file of the party.
Oyedemi made the solicitation on Wednesday on the familiarization tours to the party's chapters across the Oyo Federal Constituency.
He commended the leaders across the four local government areas of the constituency for their steadfastness in keeping the administration of the party going despite the leadership crises occasioned by the state congress.
In his pleas for the grassroot support, Barr. Oyedemi enjoined the leaders, executives and teeming members of the party to key into his aspirational drive for unprecedented social, economic and physical development in the district.
He graciously availed the meetings to canvass delegates in Atiba, Oyo East and Afijio Local Government chapters to massively vote him as the candidate at the primary election promising that he would not leave any of his promises unfulfilled if elected.
Barr. Oyedemi in his speech further implored members of the party across the constituency to reward his unequal commitment, loyalty and support to the cause of the party when many of his co-aspirants in the race deserted.
Among the party leaders present at the tours are in Atiba Local Government; Mr. Ademola Adelowo (the party Chairman) and Mr. Ganiyu Ajimobi and Hon. A. M Tella.
Others are Oyo East; Alh. Yinusa Kolawole (the Chairman), Hon. Amuda Ayodele, Hon. Muthair Adekunle and Hon. Waheed Adebimpe, Afijio; Pa M. A Adegbite, Mr. Owolabi Akin Orin and Mr. Ogundiran Ogundijo.
