College of education Ilorin staff protest mismanagement of 100 million Naira Cooperative funds - watchtower media

Disgruntled staff of the college of education Ilorin today blocked the entrance gate of the institution to protest alleged of miss management of cooperative societies funds by the Acting Provost of the Colleges, Doctor Ahmed Ayinla Jimoh. 
The staff, who came out in their number expressed their displeasure over the issue, which is a year savings of the staff, designed for Ileya and other expenses during festivities incase salary is delayed. 
Speaking during the protest in an exclusive interview with Sobi FM Correspondent Toyin Saheed, Chairman of the Islamic Cooperative Society Doctor Adi Moshood alleged that the provost has not been able to pay their savings and deductions amounting to over One hundred million (100) naira from three different cooperative societies in the college and Ileya is fast approaching. 

Adi, who said they have written to the government but all their efforts to ensure the school management pays the savings and deductions have been to no avail. 
Adi, who said they can no longer tolerate the sufferings called on the state government to intervene in the matter, as efforts to speak with the college provost has proved abortive as at the time of filing the report.
