BREAKING NEWS: The Deputy Governor of Oyo State, HE Rauf Olaniyan FNSE, has been removed from office by the Oyo State House of Assembly.
The resolution of the House for his removal was successfully passed on Monday, the 18th Day of July, 2022
This comes as the lingering crisis between the governor and his deputy finally reached point of no return.
It was earlier reported that Eng Rauf Olaniyan was being given ill-treatment by the governor as he has no say in governance since they won the election. It is also worthy of note that he at a point noted that he was being sidelined and the chief of staff to the governor was performing his duties.
Meanwhile the deputy governor crossed to APC when according to him " he was fed up" with the kind of treatment he was getting.
