The University of Port-Harcourt ( UNIPORT ), has lost one of her own to the cold hands of death, Jennifer Omoerere a final year student of the University of Port Harcourt, was among the three persons burnt to death in a ghastly accident which occurred on monday night, June 21, 2022, at Opokuma junction, along East-West Road.
She was also the Vice President of the National Union of Urhobo Students Worldwide (NUUS).
Reports state: she was on her way to Port Harcourt, Rivers state from Bayelsa when the accident occurred.
The President (Ajuwe) of of NUUS Worldwide, Ishokare Ishaku Emuejevoke Justice, confirmed the sad news on Wednesday, June 22.
"It was a black Wednesday for the National Union of Urhobo Students Worldwide.
