A middle aged man has been caught by residents of Felele for stealing just months after his release from Abolongo prison in Oyo.
A young man simply known as Emmanuel has been caught by youths of Felele area in Ibadan the Oyo state capital for terrorizing the area. He was said to have been part of a group of robbers who have been wrecking havoc in the community for some time.
In the process of robbing their victim, he smashed his head with machete leaving him badly injured. The victim has since been rushed to the hospital where he is fighting for his life as he has lost so much blood.
He was caught a few months ago and handed over to the police which made him spend some time at Abolongo prison in Oyo, an eyewitness who recognized him also corroborated the fact. He also mentioned that a few days ago the same people can around to rob people of their properties.
This time around he was caught with a locally fabricated gun and his accomplices are on the run. As at the time of filing this report he is about to be handed over to the police.
However there has been concerns about how he got out so quickly after he was nabbed earlier for stealing car battery.
