It was all shades of glamour at the 101.7 Yes FM’s celebration of icons which had people from all walks of life in attendance.
The venue of the program, Mauve 21 event centre ring road Ibadan played host to great people who have excelled in their various chosen fields .
It was a time to celebrate Alhaji Wasiu Alabi Odetola popularly known as Pasuma wonder on his 55th birthday.
Declaring the event open,the group managing director of 101.7yesfm Ibadan,Mr Yemi Sonde eulogised the celebrant for his efforts at rebranding the Fuji music and also declared that the event will be an annual program.
The chairman, planning committee Com. Oluseun Awodele who also doubles as the chairman for Freelance and Independent Broadcasters Association of Nigeria, Oyo state chapter in his remarks said celebrating Fuji icon, Alhaji Wasiu Alabi Odetola,Pasuma is the right thing to do ,considering his achievements so far and that is why he was deemed fit to be honoured.
Good will messages also poured in from friends and well wishers
The high point of the event was the presentation of an award to the celebrant in recognition of his outstanding achievements.
Top musicians and entertainers including Alhaji Taye currency, Paso Poly, Tiri Leather and a host of others took turns to spice up the event.
The venue was full to the brim as fans, friends, well wishers and VIPs trooped in to honour the celebrant.
