The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission arraigned a man, Nwachi Chidozie Kingsley, before a Court sitting in Abuja over alleged $370,000 internet fraud.
This was disclosed in a statement released via EFCC’s Twitter account on Tuesday.
According to the statement, he was arraigned on a two-count charge of stealing, obtaining by false pretence, and criminal possession of fake documents.
The statement reads, “ The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has arraigned one Nwachi Chidozie Kingsley before Justice U.P Kekemeke of the Federal Capital Territory High Court, Maitama, Abuja for an alleged $370,000 internet fraud.
“ He was arraigned on Monday, March 20, 2023, on a two-count charge bordering on stealing, obtaining by false pretence and criminal possession of fake documents.”
