No skeletons in his cupboard – PDP hails Ortom for honouring EFCC’s invitation
The Benue State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, on Tuesday lauded the immediate past governor of the State, Chief Samuel Ortom, for honouring the invitation of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
The former governor was at the EFCC facility in Makurdi, the state capital, on Tuesday following allegations of embezzlement of public fund.
According to reports, Ortom was grilled for about 11 hours by officials of the anti-graft agency before he was freed.
