Ondo teenagers fake kidnap, demands ransom from parents
Twenty-eight suspected kidnappers have been apprehended in Akoko, Owo-Ose and Ilaje areas of Ondo State by the State Security Network Agency, Codenamed Amotekun Corps.
Among the suspects are two secondary school students from Oka-Akoko who fake their own kidnapping.
The suspects said they kidnapped themselves because their mother was maltreating one of them.
The Corps commander of Amotekun, Akogun Adetunji Adeleye, said the students alongside other suspects were arrested in different parts of the state for Kidnapping, cult activities, illegal possession of fire arms among others.
