Hon.sarafadeen Olaoniye Bibire,
Former caretaker chairman Ibarapa central, has advised the newly turbaned chief Imam of Idere to use his position to promote religious tolerance in Idere,Ibarapa and Oyo state as a whole.
Hon Sarafa, who is popularly known as Bibiire in the political circle,who is also the chief luncher said this in a congratulatory message during a telephone interview after the event,held on 4th of feb.2024. Hon.Olaoniye who was represented by prince Leye Olaoniye presented some amount of cash for the building project of Idere central Mosque
Hon.Bibiire cautioned all religious sector against hate speech or any statement that can cause disunity or mahem in the society
He, however, congratulated the new chief imam of Idere land Alhaji Abduljeleel Ajibadr Yinusa,Alhaji Najeemdeen Afolabi as Naibul-Imam if Idere land,Prince Alhaji Fadlulahi Olanrewsju eketa chief Imam of idereland,Ustaz Najeemdeen Alawiye ejerin adini of idereland,Fadilatul Sheikh Ashimiy Opeyemi Yusuf mufassir of idereland Ustaz muili Ademola usman Ajanasi of idereland, respectively
on their emergence as religious leaders,describing it as an indication of the absolute trust of the people of Idere land in them.
Hon.Bibiire said,
"Now that the good people of Idere have put you forward,my admonition to all the religious leaders is to borrow a leaf from the past imam to promote peace and unity in idere especially in religious sector. There should not be religious discrimination among other religion,as we first become a citizen of idere before belonging to a religious group.
