World Radio Day 2024: Oyo Speaker Aid And Popular Ace Broadcaster "Mc Swagger, honored with Distinguished Service Award.
Today, Tuesday February 13th, 2024 @ BUNKER HALL, RING ROAD, IBADAN. "Amb. Opeyemi Ayanrinde, who is currently the Special Assistant on Mobilization to The Speaker of Oyo State House of Assembly and Chairman Conference of Speakers in Nigeria, Rt. (Hon) Adebo Ogundoyin, Mc Swagger", who double as the Oyo State Coordinator Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Business Membership Organization's BMOs Of Nigeria, also he's the candidate and hopeful Chairman for the Association Of Nigerian Broadcasters (ANBROAD) Oyo State Chapter and an experienced professional broadcaster of note in broadcasting industry, was honored with "DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD", for outstanding contributions to Radio Broadcasting in Nigeria and Globally in commemoration of 2024 WORLD RADIO DAY (UNITED NATIONS).
The event and keynoted Address was decleared opened by the Special Guest Of Honor, " Hon. Waheed Akintayo (Ilumoka Presenter), who is also the Oyo State House of Assembly Chairman House Committee on Media, Information and ICT. While the lecture, topic "news production in the digital era and audience inter activities in program production" was delivered by "Dr. Kamoru Aremu Salawudeen (FIIRS, ANPR, ARPA, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, Ogun State.
The event was graced by Media practitioners, stakeholders and Representatives from different Radio Station, while the program was directed by the Ace broadcaster "Dr. Lanre Akanji.
During the Goodwill Message, the Popular Ace Broadcaster, Actor, Company Brand Influencer and Media Guru "Mc Swagger, urge all professional broadcasters to be prepared of good contents while going on air, reasonable programs on air attracted more audience and traffic. Also, he advised all Media House's to learn how to appreciate their staff's, Freelance and Independent Broadcasters working with them, welfarism is the key to good delivery on air. We broadcasters deserve better because we are the voice of the masses, we represent the audience and public, we are the intermediary between the government and public.
In conclusion, the converner of the event 'Dr. Bunmi Otunuga, while speaking appreciate everyone and the awardees, he promised to changed the system and atmosphere of the broadcasting industry through experience and orientation through Media platforms and Media Houses.
