"The Kano State High Court Upholds Suspension of APC National Chairman, Ganduje
A recent ruling by the Kano State High Court has upheld the suspension of Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the former governor and current national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC). The court issued the order following an ex parte motion filed by Haladu Gwanjo and Laminu Sani through their legal representative Ibrahim Sa’ad.
Justice Usman Mallam Na’Abba granted the ex parte order on Wednesday, April 17, and directed that Ganduje refrain from representing himself as a party member. The plaintiffs, who are executive members of the APC Ganduje ward, claimed to be acting on behalf of the ward’s executive members.
Gwanjo, who serves as the party’s ward Legal Adviser, previously announced Ganduje’s suspension on Monday. Consequently, the court also instructed Ganduje to abstain from overseeing any activities of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the APC.
In response to these developments, the APC has lodged a complaint with the Inspector General of Police regarding Ganduje’s alleged suspension."
