One of the leading aspirants for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ticket in the forthcoming Ibadan North Federal Constituency bye-election, Hon. Kazim Adeyinka Adeniyi Bibire, has congratulated Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle DON on his emergence as the consensus candidate of the party.
Hon. Bibire, a former Special Adviser to Governor Seyi Makinde on Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, described the consensus decision as a bold testament to the spirit of unity and maturity within the party, facilitated by the visionary leadership of His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde.
“I warmly congratulate my brother, Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle DON, on his emergence as our consensus candidate.
This is not just a victory for him, but for every member of the PDP family who believes in unity, sacrifice, and the greater good of our dear constituency,” Bibire stated.
He commended Governor Makinde for once again demonstrating his exceptional capacity to lead with fairness, equity, and foresight.
“The governor’s intervention brought about peace, harmony, and collective progress.
His leadership continues to inspire confidence, loyalty, and alignment among party members,” he said.
Hon. Bibire further affirmed his unshakable loyalty to Governor Makinde and pledged his total support for Hon. DON’s candidacy in the upcoming bye-election.

He called on all party faithful across Ibadan North to close ranks and work collectively to deliver a resounding victory for the PDP.
The consensus agreement, which saw seven aspirants including Hon. Bibire, Hon. Matthew Alani Oyeniyi, Hon. Kabiru Salami De-Bomba, Hon. Waheed Biro, Hon. Lanre Sarumi, Hon. Kamorudeen Oladimeji, and Hon. Taiwo Lekan Salami agreeing to support Hon. DON, marks a new chapter of unity and strategic alignment within the PDP in Ibadan North.
