President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday met with Anambra State Governor, Professor Charles Soludo, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja for a closed-door discussion.
While the Presidency has not disclosed the official details of their meeting, sources suggest it may be connected to the upcoming Anambra governorship election, where Soludo is seeking re-election for a second term.
In a notable political gesture, Soludo arrived at the Villa wearing a cap emblazoned with Tinubu’s infinity logo a move interpreted by observers as a subtle show of support for the President, who is widely expected to seek another term in office.
According to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the Anambra governorship poll is scheduled for 8 November 2025.
