BREAKING: Aregbesola's Ally, Wale Adedoyin Threatens to Kill APC Chieftain in Ilesa
A former member of the Osun State House of Assembly and close associate of former minister of interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, Hon. Wale Adedoyin, has been caught on video threatening to kill a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Femi Onigbogi, during a meeting in Ilesa West Local Government in Osun State.
Onigbogi, a legal practitioner, is a former member of the Governing Council of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree.
In the widely circulated video, Adedoyin was seen boasting that he would “eliminate” Barr. Femi Onigbogi during one of the party’s weekly general meetings held on Sunday.
Multiple calls made to his known phone number and that of Onigbogi, to verify the reason for the outburst, were returned unanswered before filling this report.
Adedoyin who before serving as member of the Osun State House of Assembly representing Ilesa West state constituency had previously served as Commissioner of Agriculture in the cabinet of Aregbesola and has been serially accused of engaging in anti-party activities in the 2022 and 2023 governorship and presidential elections respectively.
