Nigerian Diplomat, Amb. Jonathan Ojadah, to Be Honored as a Hero in Peace Making at Kenya’s Prestigious Mashujaa Day Celebration

His Excellency, Ambassador Dr. Jonathan Ojadah, the Global President of the United Nations International Peace and Governance Council (UNIPGC) and Permanent Representative to the United Nations, has been nominated as a Hero in Peace Making for the upcoming Mashujaa Day Celebration in Kenya.
Mashujaa Day—meaning Heroes’ Day—is one of Kenya’s most symbolic national holidays, held every October 20th, honoring men and women who have made extraordinary contributions to the nation and humanity at large. This year, the spotlight shines on Dr. Ojadah, whose remarkable work in advancing peace, good governance, and sustainable development has impacted lives far beyond borders.

As part of the national celebration, Dr. Ojadah will be received in Nairobi on October 17th, 2025, ahead of the main event in Kitui County on October 18th, 2025. There, Dr. Ojadah will be officially recognized for his outstanding role in promoting peace and stability across Africa.
The honor comes following an official invitation from the National Heroes Council, chaired by Hon. Angwenyi Jimmy Nuru Ondieki, MGW, who commended Dr. Ojadah’s tireless dedication to continental peacebuilding. Arrangements have also been made for his full participation and accommodation during the national event.
