Satguru Maharaj Ji Warns Atiku to Stay Away from 2027 Presidential Race
Spiritual leader accuses Northern politicians of political rascality, urges elders to respect power rotation agreement.
The founder of One Love Family, Satguru Maharaj Ji, has called on former Vice President Atiku Abubakar to withdraw from the 2027 presidential race, saying his ambition threatens Nigeria’s peace, unity, and political balance.
In a statement issued from his spiritual headquarters in Ibadan and addressed to Northern Elders, Maharaj Ji warned that Atiku’s “presidential election car has no brakes,” describing his persistent quest for power as a “primordial desperacy” that disregards reason and respect for equity.
According to the statement, the self-acclaimed Living Perfect Master criticized what he termed the silence of the Northern political elite, accusing them of “open and outright political rascality” for failing to call Atiku and other Northern aspirants to order.
“Having ingratiated a North-South shift of the presidential slot into Nigeria’s electoral space, the right, decent and respectable thing for the North to do is to honor what it created,” he said.
Maharaj Ji emphasized that the South should be allowed to complete its eight-year tenure under President Bola Tinubu, just as the North did during former President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.
He urged respected Northern figures such as Generals Ibrahim Babangida, Yakubu Gowon, Abdulsalami Abubakar, and David Mark, alongside youth, market men, and women, to intervene and prevent Atiku from pursuing his 2027 ambition.
The spiritual leader further accused some Northern politicians and elites of contributing to Nigeria’s prolonged decline, stating that “Aso Rock is neither an asylum nor a retirement home.”
> “Atiku lacks what it takes to profitably run a brothel, not to mention emancipating and prospering a multi-ethnic and mangled economy,” Maharaj Ji added in his fiery statement.
He concluded by advising Atiku to retire peacefully, warning that “a word is enough for the wise” and reaffirming his belief that divine forces will protect Nigeria from those attempting to destabilize it.
“Long live the Northern Elders, long live all Nigerians for peace, long live President Tinubu, and long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” Maharaj Ji declared.
