Former Makinde’s Chief of Staff, Bisi Ilaka, Resigns from PDP, Set to Unveil Next Political Move
A former Chief of Staff to Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) senatorial candidate for Oyo Central, Chief Bisi Ilaka, has officially resigned from the PDP.
Chief Ilaka, a UK-trained lawyer, respected political figure in Oyo State, and the Ladilu of Oyo Kingdom, confirmed his departure from the party on Thursday.
He explained that his decision came after extensive consultations with political allies, loyal supporters, and key stakeholders across the state. According to him, while the move was not made lightly, it became imperative in view of his political beliefs and future direction.
Chief Ilaka added that he would soon make public his next political steps.
