‘2027 Election Will Be a Walkover for Me’ – Delta Gov Oborevwori Boasts
Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has expressed confidence about his chances in the 2027 governorship election, declaring that the contest would be a “walkover” for him as the incumbent leader of the state.
Oborevwori made the remark while addressing supporters in Delta State, stressing that his administration’s performance would make it difficult for any opposition candidate to defeat him.
According to a report by Daily Post, the governor said his government has continued to deliver development projects across the state, adding that the achievements of his administration would speak for him when the time comes.
He also urged members of the Peoples Democratic Party to remain united and continue supporting his leadership.
The governor noted that maintaining unity within the party would further strengthen its chances of retaining power in the state during the next election cycle.
Oborevwori further assured residents that his administration would continue to focus on governance and the delivery of democratic dividends.
His comment comes amid increasing political discussions and alignments ahead of Nigeria’s 2027 general elections.
