I Met Yul Edochie at a GCE Centre — May Edochie Recounts How She Met Her Ex-Husband
May Edochie has recounted how she first met her estranged husband, Nollywood actor Yul Edochie, long before fame and marriage.
Speaking on a recent lifestyle podcast, May revealed that their paths first crossed at a General Certificate Examination (GCE) centre during her early university years.
She explained that she had just relocated from Lagos to Enugu State to further her education at Enugu State University when she met Yul, who was then a student at the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT).
“Back in school, when I moved to the East for my university, I was a bookworm and it was always about my studies. We didn’t meet at a party or any fancy place; it was at a GCE centre,” she said.
Reflecting on that period, May described herself as a focused and academically driven young woman.
