In a statement on Tuesday, Bibire expressed deep admiration for the love, perseverance, and joy that persons with disabilities bring to their families, communities, and the state at large.
“I celebrate them for the love they radiate, the perseverance they embody, and the joy they bring to our society,” he said.
“They are an essential part of us, and I love them so much.
This is why I celebrate with them every year, and I will continue to associate with them.
They are meant to be loved.”
Bibire further highlighted the efforts of Governor Seyi Makinde, noting that the administration has consistently demonstrated openness, compassion, and a willingness to ensure that persons with disabilities have a meaningful place in governance.
“Governor Makinde has shown true leadership by ensuring that persons with disabilities are not left behind,” he said.
“Through his people-centered policies, accessible governance approach, and inclusive mindset, he has made it clear that every resident of Oyo State matters.
His administration listens to them, engages them, and gives room for their voices to be heard.”
He urged the general public to emulate the governor’s inclusive spirit by extending love, respect, and support to all persons with disabilities, stressing that a society that uplifts its most vulnerable members is one that truly progresses.
Bibire reaffirmed his personal commitment and that of the administration to continue building an Oyo State where every individual regardless of ability can thrive.
